The Bolinas-Stinson Beach School Foundation was created by parents and community members in 1997 to help raise money for special programs and projects. Our purpose is to provide funding for curriculum enrichment to the Bolinas-Stinson School in the areas of art, drama, literature, math, music, physical education, and STEM. Year after year, your generous support has enabled The Bolinas-Stinson Beach School Foundation, a nonprofit 501C3, to do exactly this by broadly enriching our students’ holistic education and development. The School Foundation’s mission is to support and enable our exceptional teachers while also making extra-curricular programs – led by teachers and treasured community members - accessible to any child. In 2025, we became engaged in supporting ongoing access for three year-olds to a public pre-school program. These programs are a vital means of fostering enthusiasm for the arts and sciences in our children and providing a truly holistic, community-centered educational experience that is so unique to Bolinas and Stinson Beach.
We've consistently grown, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community! Today, in addition to providing scholarships, we support several additional Bolinas child-centric organizations through fiscal sponsorship, allowing their important programs to operate tax-free under our non-profit umbrella. Your contributions help us provide back end support and accounting services to Young Stewards of the Land and Bolinas Stinson Internet Access.
Our goal in the 2025-2026 school year is to raise $200,000 to support academic enrichment including the 3 year old preschool program, field trips, scholarships for after school programming, and musical instruments and equipment. We kindly ask for your help in reaching this goal in the following ways:
